Nashville-based alt-pop singer and songwriter Caroline Romano emerges once again with her evocative new single, "Born To Want More." In conjunction with this release, Caroline is proud to unveil the title of her forthcoming EP, How The Good Girls Die, slated for release in early 2025.

"Born To Want More," alongside recent tracks like "Body Bag" and "Pretty Boys," signals a bold artistic direction for the anticipated EP, which is poised to push creative boundaries and solidify Caroline’s distinct voice within the alt-pop genre. The single stands as a raw and powerful anthem, encapsulating the relentless pursuit of dreams just beyond reach. It begins with an intimate, stripped-back guitar paired with Caroline's emotive vocals, eventually crescendoing into an electrifying indie-rock soundscape that amplifies her narrative of yearning and resilience.

Reflecting on her creative process, Caroline shares, “I wrote ‘Born to Want More’ during a time when I was grappling with a series of ‘almosts’—those moments where things felt so close but still just out of reach. This song captures that wits-end feeling where you’re wondering if you’ll ever find what you’re looking for. You’re chasing experiences and feelings that you know exist but you haven’t yet found. It’s something I know all too well.” She adds, “It’s by far one of my more vulnerable songs I’ve released, and it’s one of my favorites for that reason.”

At only 23 years old, Caroline Romano has already carved out a unique niche for herself, seamlessly transitioning between misty-eyed ballads and dynamic alt-rock anthems. Since her 2022 debut album, Oddities and Prodigies, and the follow-up 2023 EP, A Brief Epic, Caroline has consistently revealed deeper layers of her artistry with each successive release.

Her music offers a profound exploration of the contemporary female experience, marked by raw emotion, introspection, and hedonistic undertones. Over recent years, Caroline has also earned acclaim for her electrifying live performances, gracing stages at iconic Nashville venues such as The Basement East and The End, and supporting acts like Grayscale and Smallpools on their US tour.

Caroline’s upcoming EP, How The Good Girls Die, promises to be a significant milestone in her career, challenging the status quo and further establishing her as an inspirational force in the alt-pop landscape.
